Born and raised in the suburbs of New Jersey, Tanya truly caught the acting bug as a child when she saw the original cast of Beauty and the Beast on Broadway! Following high school, she attended County College of Morris - double majoring in Drama and Humanities/Social Sciences - before continuing her education and earning a BA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Acting from Centenary College.

After graduating with honors (Summa Cum Laude), Tanya participated in the Walt Disney World College Program (Sunset Operations) for a year before returning home to pursue her dream full-time.

When she's not acting, Tanya enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, baking, yoga, and honing her craft.

• First show was her middle school's production of The Wizard of Oz. She played a Munchkin.

• Helmed The Vagina Monologues as her senior thesis project, raising $400 for the V-Day 2010 Spotlight on women in Democratic Republic of Congo and $750 for the Jersey Battered Women's Service - a total of $1,150!
