Rijksmuseum
8/26/2022
Actor: Abby Rijksmuseum premiered by the Jewish Theatre of Oklahoma and was a winner of the 2022 Respect Diversity International Playwriting Competition. It tells the story of a family's visit to the famous national museum of the Netherlands where they come upon a painting of Lot and His Daughters. In the painting, Lot's daughters resort to incest in a misguided belief that all men on earth, except their father, were killed in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and that it is their responsibility to preserve the human race by bearing children.
The play's mother and her two twenty-something daughters explore the painting and its meaning. Their discussion uncovers a moral dilemma that has upended the older daughter's life. Through the mother's gentle prodding and the painting's meaning, the daughter works her way to a clearer understanding of this dilemma. Rijksmuseum is a play about mothers and daughters and the challenges of navigating a morally ambiguous world. Written by W. L. Newkirk and Directed by Mike Carr, as part of Acts of Love - an evening of one-act plays by Central Florida writers. Voice Actor: Female Ravager Exploring pivotal moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turning them on their head, leading the audience into uncharted territory: the rough-and-tumble space pirates known as the Ravagers abduct T'Challa instead of Peter Quill.

Herself LOOKING FOR LEIA explores the unique phenomenon of "fangirls" in the traditionally male nerd arena. Since its debut in 1977, STAR WARS has revolutionized the way we watch movies, interact with our heroes, and express our fandom. From the feature films to animation, books, games, comics, and more, there's an entry point for every generation. But it's what fans do with their love of the galaxy far, far away that's truly special. Unique, heartwarming, and funny, women and non-binary fans share how they first fell in love with the saga.

Greg Raposo: That Day
5/15/2012
Herself I wrote this song for a fan who'd been messaging me on facebook for years. I knew she was sick but never to what extent. She told me that she would not likely survive her upcoming operation and had difficulty sending me her goodbyes. I let her know that I was writing her a song and that I'd post it the day after her surgery, so she would have to stick around. The song became the first single off my new album, "LossLoveLife," which is a dedication to my cousin, Theresa." Greg Raposo
